Dynamic coal flow balancing also requires our specially engineered logic. This highly competitive logic processes the information collected from measuring, the feedback information from the PBG-1 Valves and additional information from the plant. This software and hardware package is capable of dealing with the individual combustion challenges as required.
Today we also provide the solution to integrate the software into your DCS directly or to use the SPPA-T 3000 from Siemens as an automation server.
Picture 1 shows a principle program flow chart as being used in one of the installations.
Picture 2 shows the balancing PBG-1 Valves in operation, while one of them is in the complete open position for least pressure drop. The remaining other 3 valves are balancing the flow to be within 25% ± 3%.
